LITTLE MISS FLAME NEEDS YOU!
Applications are being accepted for the annual Little Miss Flame contest in Atkinson. The contest will take place on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m in downtown Atkinson. It is open to girls ages 5-7 who reside within the Atkinson Fire Protection District. Each girl will receive a T-shirt and trophy as well as numerous other prizes. They will all be invited to participate in the Atkinson Heritage Days Parade on Sunday, September 14th as well. Little Miss Flame and her court will reign over the Atkinson Heritage Days festivities. To participate send a brief resume that includes the contestants name, age, address, phone number, parents names, grade in school and siblings names as well as a brief description of her hobbies and interests to Nikki Fulkes, 418 West View Drive, Atkinson, IL 61235. Please also include a photo of the contestant (no larger than a 4 x 6 please) and her T-shirt size. Deadline to enter the contest is September 1st.
